2007: The year of my first African Safari !
I have dreamed of hunting in Africa for years. Probably the
what finally hooked me was Peter Capstick's "Death in the Long Grass".
Reading that book set me down a "path of no return". Africa
is in my blood and I have to go! I consume every book
of hunting and adventuring in Africa that I can buy. Ruark,
Capstick, Hemmingway, Aagaard and especially Boddington.
We have booked a Plains Game safari with Molopo Kalahari Safaris for 2007. I am also researching a dangerous game hunt for 2009. I am thinking about Cape Buffalo and tuskless Elephant!
My Ruger #1 .375 H&H is going with me!!
What a trip!! I'm going back - hopefully in 2010!!!!
