In 2003 I took my friend Eric to Alaska fishing for a "long weekend". We flew up on a Thursday evening and
flew home on the red eye the following Monday. We spent the long weekend at Ingrams Base Camp in Cooper Landing.
I have stayed at Ingrams numerous times over the years and in my opinion they have the best cabins on the Kenai Peninsula.
We planned an active trip - we floated the Kenai Friday afternoon and all day Saturday, flew out to Crescent lake to
fish for grayling on Sunday and walked in and fished Quartz Creek on Monday until it was time to head back to Anchorage.
